SHOK WAVE is your weekly new REGGAE music blog. SHOK WAVE finds music that is out there in the form of Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Ska, Dub, Reggae Rock & anything else musical with a Caribbean origin and in any language.
Here is what we found this week…….Enjoy!
Instead of not doing a blog this week we decided to list a bunch of good songs that released. I did not find anything great just good. Maybe this should be the start of an additional playlist? What do you think?
REGGAE
ConkahGood feat Dub Society ‘Propaganda’
Aza Lineage ‘No Winners Of War (Be Forgiving)
Lion D ‘Cannabis For Future’
Jah Cure ‘Sorry’
Akae Beka ‘Homage To The Land’ & ‘All We Be’
DANCEHALL
Keznamdi feat Tory Lanez remix with Vybz Kartel ‘City Lock’
Common feat. PJ & Damian Marley ‘What Do You Say (Move It Baby)’ remix
SOCA/DANCEHALL
Bounty Killer & Bunji Garlin ‘Free Up’
Bounty & Bunji have teamed up before. In fact, Bunji imitated Bounty early on in his career. On this tune, it’s the best of of dancehall meets the best in soca. It leans a bit more to the soca side. Bunji has been a bit quiet of recent. This tune sounds really fresh from Bunji and good. Bounty is working on the new album ‘King Of Kingston’ and I am sure this will be on it. So he’s been making more than noise.
REGGAE ROCK
Bumpin Uglies feat. Pepper ‘Cali Sober’
Sun-Dried Vibes & Mellodose ‘Rewind This’
Ballyhoo ‘The Come Up’
Kings & Comrades feat. Nathan Aurora
KULCHA LATINO
De Bruces A MI ‘Bici My Love’
