SHOK WAVE is your weekly new REGGAE music. SHOK WAVE finds music that is out there in the form of Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Ska, Dub, Reggae Rock & anything else musical with a Caribbean origin and in any language.

Here is what we found this week.......Enjoy!

REGGAE

Qshan Deya 'Rebel Music'
A name or voice you probably know, Qshan Deya has a great voice that sings consciousness. The man has talent yet times it does not all come together for him for different reasons. Well contrary to that, Qshan finds all the right ingredients on 'Rebel Music.' The voice, the lyrics and music all match to create one of his best songs in years. Reggae music is rebel music and this is what Mr Deya has chosen & for good reason. We know he's a warrior in this business and we are thankful for that mission.

DUB

Flying Vipers "World Inversion"
Modern dub has made steps into the right direction. We have become bigger fans because of modern dub bands like Flying Vipers.  "World Inversion" is a journey into the world of dub version. 'Goner,' 'Existential Dread At The Controls' & 'Mushrooms & Wallabees' are our favorites. The album is one you can put on and just let it take you for that 'ride.'

DANCEHALL/SKA

Skarra Mucci Queen Omega 'Feel It'
This is an interesting record and we have never come across a dancehall ska tune like this. Queen Omega delivers the vibes to make you 'Feel It,' over a ska track. Then, Skarra Mucci does it in his dancehall delivery to create this one of a kind song. You better be ready to dance.
Chardonnay & High Watah 'You Deserve Me'
