REGGAE
Is music still the universal language?. Well we are going to test you in that regard. Here are several examples of reggae that a predominately in other languages besides English.
Nuttea "Tribulations"
The dancehall & reggae king out of France is Nuttea. He starts the album with that in mind and in 'DHK' for his Dancehall Queen. 'Eguax' is Nuttea' combo with Reggae Grammy winner Kabaka Pyramid. 'Ensemble' is steppas reggae track while 'Apaise Ton Espirit'is the first taste of English. It's the first standout track with a good melody, vibe & lyrics. A modern dancehall & strong delivery from Nuttea makes it 'Come Back' time & again. Chilla keeps it chill & sweet on 'Tout Es Bo.' A couple of heavyweights, Beenie Man & King Kong, join Nuttea on one that is 'Dangerous.' Bill Wither's makes the album with a cover by Nuttea. It is said that French is the most romantic language for many and 'Comment Oublier' is right on track. What a sexy track with the hint of a female makes that much better. Pinchers opens the next track 'Musical Murder,' also with LMK. Does the music get across? Does it break the language barrier? We think so and feel it's good mix of reggae & dancehall, Nuttea has a nice balance of both. His talent shines through on either reggae or dancehall
I-Fire 'Wir Halten Die Spur'
Coming from out of Germany, one of the harsher languages especially when it comes to singing. I-Fire does a great job of smoothing it out to make much more palatable than his colleagues. I-Fire i keeping track.
These are in English
Ras Teo “Up Fi Jah”
Firstly, great production from Forward Bound Records. This very well produced with such an heartcal & rootsy, upful vibe & message any roots lover will appreci-love thid ‘Up Fi Jah’ album. Great horn lines especially on ‘I See Rastafarl.’ You know the dub is voing to be extra wicked. Our favorite tracks are ‘Air Balloon,’ ‘Jah Mountain,’’Wonderland’ and our favorite is ‘Hola Face.’
If you really like it and are a dub head theres a link below for a full dub version of the album.

DANCEHALL
Various Artists "Rise & Bus' riddim
The riddim has that Trap-Hall sound. We listen to all the traphall and we can honestly say this is the first traphall riddim has a real vibe. The lyrics and melodies are the strongest we have heard to date. We love the lyrics from New York's latest dancehall sensation Noah Powa. Every ghetto youth fi 'rise & bus' is the Powa full lyrics of Noah. 'Me pray to God before me touch the road'sings Kappa. There's Chino McGregor & Zj Liquid. The other tune fi 'Rise & Bus' is the artist doing the same, it's Shaneil Muir ' the broke pocket just can't work.' She got talent and she's holding firm.
DUB
Various Artists "Dub From The Grave"
The album opens with a spooky outer space style intro from Jim The Boss. Dub can definitely be on the spooky side of Halloween. The two come together really well on 'American Horror Story.'The effects are what make it and the solid reggae track keeps it moving with a good groove. Jah Adam & the Hi Fi Rockers introduce us to 'Halloween Town,' in case you have never heard about it. The next tune sounds like it could be your first steps into the haunted house of the 'Queen of the Dead.' Someone shot a 'Big Man Dead' in your back yard says the police. Sounds pretty spooky & scary to us. It may be 'Dark Art' and an American thing. Americans try to have fun with it. They do a great job of it on this 7 track album. You know rasta only deals with life, not death so it will be hard for those to see the fun it. It's well done with quality, good topics and the bottom line is the music is good. The goodness is all that matters to us at the end of the day on 'Dubs From The Grave." The fun comes to a close with a take off of the original 'Throw Me Corn' with 'Throw Me Brains' and an introduction to the band. We find it to be done with thought and in good taste.
