DANCEHALL

Tiwony "Dancehall Frequency"
Tiwony comes with the full "Dancehall Frequency." Kicking it off with 'Dancehall Nice,' and making dancehall nice again. He grew up in the French Caribbean and settled in France. This album has a classic dancehall feel. The next tune to take flight is 'Nah Tek No Talk' ft. Anthony B over the classic Super Cat tune 'Come Down.' The amount of French songs will make it resonate most with reggae French community worldwide, which is probably the next biggest to English & Japanese listeners. It will attract the reggae communitya at large. As an English speaker, we gravitate towards the more English songs like 'A Wah Do (Shotta) Dem.' Pretty much the same name as the famous Eek-A-Mouse song. The album introduces us to artists like Bad Sam on 'La Ref.' More of this to come....stay tuned. The dancehall 'Action' is non-stop, a real 'Winner' and should get a 'Big Forward' throughout the French dancehalls. 'Soum Sou' has major influence from Bogle aka Mr Wacky the dancehall dancer out of Jamaica. Help us figure out what 'YKTDNTM' stands for. Tiwony sings it so fast we do not understand it. It does sound good. So does 'Ola Sa Ka Ba.' Another we do not undersstand yet we feel the vibes. Dancehall for Christ's sake one more them with the title track. Be careful Tiwnoy likes the bad Jamaican word Bumbaclaat. 'Dancehall Frequency' also has several new artists that truly add flava to the track. They are Cali P, Daddy Mory, Pompis, Jahnaton. 'Wa Do Dem' gets a remix featuring Maylan, KT Gorique, BabyBoom, Ronegga, Caporal Negus, Macadam, Keyta, Maizy, Lion BigMao, Osok. Wish we knew who was who. There's definitely talent in the line-up. Lastly, 'Dancehall Frequency' gets a remix as well. This one ends the album and its a new beat leaning more towards hip hop yet retaining its dancehall roots.
