Instead of not doing a blog this week we decided to list a bunch of good songs that released. I did not find anything great just good. Maybe this should be the start of an additional playlist? What do you think?

The Inevitables "The Inevitables"
This concept concept is about art & music combined. There's an accompanying comic book on how the Big Pharmas have created a way to defy death. The new debut, self entitled album is an accompanying piece of the project started by former Less Than Jake drummer Vinnie Fiorello and Westbound Train frontman Obi Fernandez. The other members of this supergroup out to save the world are Matt Appleton (Reel Big Fish), Billy Kottage (the Interrupters), John DeDomenici (Jeff Rosenstock, Bomb The Music Industry!), Alex Stern and Jon Degen (Big D And The Kids Table) and Sean-Paul Pillsworth (Nightmares For A Week). A lot of things are inevitable, like the intro. Musically the album starts with 'The Weight of the Worry' with its more of today's sound of ska, it could be the influence from Billy Kottage. This will be an audience favorite because of it's 'rights of passage.''Fort Lauderdale' will be that other crowd favorite. 'You can find me being drunk & fuked up' in 'Fort Lauderdale.' 'My Father' is the most reggae sounding track off the album so one of our favorites while 'The Last Bell Ringers' is a cross of reggae & ska, until the end where its the hardest of all songs. Then the album ends on an acoustic vibe with a song that's only 52 seconds long and is another I want more. Songs like 'Barely Kids,' 'More Tomorrows,' 'Mr Bored To Death,' 'Heart Stop,' and 'The Age of Anxiety.' fill the album well with that nice blend of rock, maybe punk and ska. The skits on the album have my favorite sonic sounds. It's unfortunate they are all under a minute and hover more around half of that. The other great part of these skits is they tie the story, album & comic together. The melodies are strong and the musical combinations work better than most and the lyrics are so ska & punk rock. So everyone that loves those styles will find something to please their ear buds. The key to this album is how the audience will connect with the lyrics and sound, a perfect blend of both.
