REGGAE
Various Artists "Favorite Riddim"
A nice Lover's Rock jugglin' called the 'Favorite riddim.' Probably all written by 'The Pen' himself Hopeton Lindo. It is also his production. The big tune is from the big singer Sanchez with 'The Best In Me.' The Pen sings 'Favorite Girl,' where the riddim gets it's name. Full of veterans like Anthonny Malvo with 'I Can't,' like the two before him. The new voices are here as well with INIque and her confession of how her man makes her 'Happy.' Peter G does not release much but when he does it comes like 'Ain't Taking No.' Lastly Novel-T sings 'I Love The Way' you do everything you do. Another confession.
Blackout Ja 'Unu Betta Move'
When it comes to music, we are a good boy because we grew and worked on radio for decades and would not play any bad words on the radio or as a DJ. There was the extremely rare occasion. Due to the current political environment, this new song by Blackout Ja called 'Unu Betta Move' sounds more appropriate with the Jamaican bad word. In this rare situation we like it as is, no edit. Babylon is making it harder by day and worse by night. Feel the struggle and make them feel it with a message.
Joe Samba 'Why Do I Live Here'
Simple is easy, nice and straightforward. This is Joe Samba in a classic of 'Why Do I Live Here.' His story of why should he live in the cold when you don't like it. Our philosophy is if it ain't fun we ain't doing it. We could not agree with him more. Florida is full! Go to Texas, Georgia, Alabama or Louisiana. The cold sucks, we love the sun. If you really need convincing take a listen.
Shenseea, Vybz Kartel, Rvssian 'Talk To Me Nuh'
Three of Jamaica's best on 1 record. It is called 'Talk To Me Nuh.' It's a Shenseea record produced by Rvssian and features Vybz Kartel. What more do you want? Dancehalls finest.
Various Artists "FarmYard Riddim"
We really like these two out of Antigua it''s the Wadadli crew representing Kenne Blessin & Kiyode Erasto produced by another good artist Fucha Kid.
Fucha Kid, Kiyode Erasto 'Rasta Fari She Love'
Fucha Kid, Kenne Blessin 'Push Back N Rock'
WORTH A LISTEN
Protoje Feat Shenseea 'Goddess'
