REGGAE
F.Y.A.H. "Free Your Authentic Heart"
A band that has been destined for great things from day one. Originally apart of Raging Fyah, Delroy “Pele” Hamilton was co-founder, leader, and ex-bassist of Raging Fyah Pele steps out & into a new phase of his musical journey with his latest project, F.Y.A.H. He is previous known for his work on the GRAMMY-nominated album Everlasting and three albums with former band Raging Fyah, Pele than took the time during the pandemic as an opportunity to expand his craft as a writer, musician, and producer, which gave birth to F.Y.A.H. On their debut album Hamilton has recruited all the missing parts: guitarist Nicolas Groskopf and vocalist Elton Earlington, Pele has crafted F.Y.A.H.’s album, Free Your Authentic Heart. This is an acronym for what the bands 4 letters stand for as well. The project delivers 12 tracks of roots reggae, carrying a message of hope, resilience, and love. These have been his meanings & messages since the earlier days. The album also holds some great collaborations with Steel Pulse, Alborosie, Hollie Cook and Glen Browne With a fresh yet authentic approach, F.Y.A.H. represents a new era for Pele, blending his deep reggae roots with a vision that’s both personal and universal.
As a 'Freedom Fighter,' it is something that they would ' Never Give Up' and was a great way to start the album. As a sweet roots rockin reggae band this band chants reggae music and sings 'Oh Oh Oh.' This one is an anthem and a sing-a-long forr the live shows.
