New Dancehall Releases
Vybz Kartel - King of The Dancehall
The King of the Dancehall has released his new album of the same name. Is there any question on who that is? Stay Tuned! It is a dancehall album and has a lot of album cuts that are a bit too dirty for me and there are no clean versions. The best tracks have been released as singles: "Colouring This Life,' 'Fever,' and, 'Western Union.' There are good hooks that even give a few a pop feel. I feel like there are a few tracks that should have been on the album like 'My Love, My Love' and his cover songs from the Beatles or the Melody Makers, or even Shabba Ranks, to give it a more International feel. It is a TJ Records production so that makes it hard. It's a decent album, I just felt it could have been better even from TJs side. My favorite track is 'Sorry Babe' and it has the 80's dancehall vibe.
Fifth Harmony - 'Go n Get Better'
Speaking more on Vybz Kartel, the popular female group Fifth Harmony have done their version of his song 'Go n Get Better' for their latest album 7/27 that just released. Here's a remix that incorporates both songs.

New Reggae Releases
Aisha Sanni-Shittu - 'Nobody'
Aisha Sanni-Shittu is a talented Nigerian recording Soul fusion artist who has been a backup singer for Majek Fashek, Dr Sid, Modenine, Teeto Ceemos, Zato, Capital Femi, and even recently, Sir Victor Uwaifo. She is a part of the budding African reggae scene and for me has been one of the few to really do good reggae and even if you include dancehall.
Stephen Marley - Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life
Stephen Marley is preparing to release his latest album Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life. Stephen has called in the troops. One is Shaggy on 'So Strong' for a pop styled reggae love song.

Superman is here again with his first contribution for St. Lucia’s Carnival 2016. The Co-Reigning 2015 Soca Monarch (which he shares with Ricky T in the winning track 'Perfect Storm') comes through with a calm Groovy track 'Alien.' Superman takes you to a place beyond the constellations….it’s like none other.
