Estelle ft. Tarrus Riley - 'Love Like Ours'
The most talked about song of the week is coming from Grammy award winning voice of Estelle. She is doing a full reggae album, which is great for reggae. She has had success with several reggae songs in the past. On her first single she has recruited Tarrus Riley for a song called 'Love Like Ours.' A great love song about the sharing & mutual love a couple has for one another. The album will come out on VP & this single has been produced by Supa Dups, who's done her stuff in the past & is the perfect choice.
Eye Wata Drop Riddim
Eye Wata Drop riddim comes courtesy of Jah Garvey & Daddaras Productions. Jah Garvey's two tracks are tops. They are 'Don't Cry' & 'Long Time' which features Quality Diamond. Two very conscious & positive tunes. Lawrence has a third track on the riddim which is more of a speech/dub poetry in pursuit of saving our future: OUR CHILDREN in 'Inner City Tales.'
NEW DANCEHALL RELEASES
Unruly Party Riddim
In the running for best dancehall riddim will be the 'Unruly Party' riddim. Last week, the Popcaan on it was released called 'Still Feel Good.' Now what makes this riddim in the running: well first, the riddim sounds good, all the songs on the riddim sound good too and the Popcaan tune has to be his best for the year so far and maybe the year.
Love Intentions Riddim
So, the 'Love Intentions' riddim is a lighter dancehall riddim. When we say light in this situation, we mean not so hard or fast. By no means is this a negative for us. It keeps it sexy with the likes of Gyptian's 'Touch Your Body' & Konshens 'Mating Call.' These are two of today's finest when it comes to singing sexy dancehall tracks.

Lil Rick - 'Blessing'
Cropover is in full effect and one of its kings, Lil Rick is back to tell you about Cropover in a song called 'Blessings' and it's a great way to look at Cropover. Shining new light on Barbados' Carnival. Cropover is a 'Blessing' and a good time.
King Bubba FM - 'Wet Them'
Barbados is on fire. King Bubba has released a real fun tune thats real catchy, maybe a bit too repetitive in 'Wet Them.' So lets have some fun, get all your friends and 'Wet Them.' It is on the 'Happy Nation ridden.'

Emertians & Chalart58 - 'Be Wise'
In our Spanish & Latin reggae department, Barcelona Spain continues to produce the best & most consistent, quality reggae music. La Panchita records newest release is no exception. The lead singer to the group the Emertians is Brother Wildman & is joined by producer + dub specialist chalart58 with their collaboration 'Be Wise.' This album is solid all the way through. All tracks from the album made the cut, which is an exceptional ratio in these times. Top cuts have good lyrics & include: their ode to politicians 'Behind Bars,' their theme of 'Good Vibes,' and their anthem 'Live & Love.' Now the two dubs on this album are also top notch: 'Rebel' & Sensi' dub versions. To me this is how dub is suppose to sound.
