Beenie Man "Eminence"
The King is back with "Eminence." Beenie Man has kept his position of great distinction by staying current and relevant. Miami and Jamaica have always had a strong connection. It is solidified with the Mayor of Miami Rick Ross representing the 305 & Beenie 876 for the opening hit song that also bring dancehall and hip hop together again. Dancehall takes the back seat for the next ride. Etana steps up with the Man on 'Guide Over Us.' A nice combination of energies just striving to be the best. Roots reggae with a dancehall twist. Singer/DJ combination with that male/female vibes. The 'Immortal' 'nah go nowhere' with another with crossover potential. The last of the radio hit songs comes in a small package called 'Doll.' It's about the 'hottest thing.' The all-star cast of 'For You' makes it one of the albums biggest songs and has that feel like the original with Snow. Beenie takes the star role and brings Snoop Dogg · Kemar McGregor · Elephant Man · Shaniel Muir · Stefflon Don · D'Yani · Tifa · Vanessa Bling · Kraff & Pamputtae in a 2026 stylee. Here's another classic from the reggae vaults of Dennis Brown 'If I Follow My Heart' with Stevie Face. Just as you think the Ganja hit tunes were done, The King puts 'Marijuana In The Kouchie,' a combination of the original riddim with lyrics of the genius Moses so it caan dun. The album is full of old riddims like the 'Death In The Arena,' 'Hotstepper' on 'KingSteppa,' 'Make Out' has that 90's feel where Beenie made his name and doing it with TI & Ashanti. The castle exit is with his guide 'Heavenly Father.' There's something for everyone. The key to this album is bringing new material with some form of familiarity.
