REGGAE
Rockaz Elements "Sup'm About Reggae"
These brothers have serious talent as producers, musicians & singers known as Rockaz Elements. Who knows their 'Pain' more than they do? No one!!! Great melody and their stylistic flow of lyrics. 'Twenty Dollar' has a dancehall vibe. At first, we were hearing all these voices that weren't quite familiar. One sounds like it could be Alborosie and another sounds like DeMarco at times and the third we were lost. So after reading the press release its the members singing everything. 'I Believe' in a you because there's lots of talent here even if it's only a 'Twenty Dollar.' So 'Believe I' when we tell you these things. We thought they were keeping the artists names from us. In the past, we have known them to work with nuff artists. When we finally realized that none of these artists where there & it was just the Rockaz Elements, we had to give them their props. Chino Mcgregor is the only guest mentioned and it's on 'Jamaica World.'
SOCA
King Bubba "Fettin Mood Vol 1"
First of all, we need to set a few things straight. The rum is straight because this is the 'Rumbassador.' 'Rum Is Me Only Friend' sings King Bubba. If you are fettin with the King make sure you p'Pass The Liquor' because he has a 'Bad Reputation' for drinking all the rum. Bubba is the King of rum no doubt. He is also the King of soca In Barbados and he is taking over soca. His new album "Fettin Mood Vol 1" has covered the common spectrum's of soca: rum, fettin mood & fettin combo as well as wine, liming, carnival and more. The album starts with the hottest tune straight out the box called 'Zero.' The best girls are those that can 'Wine' and they come from the Caribbean because they are wutless according to the King. Bubba sings about a big problem in such a good sounding way. It's a major disease in the region called bad mind in a a song called 'Never.' 'Bend Over Gyal' is for the ladies to get on bad. The album features Lil Rick,Gorg, Fryktion, Jamsey P, Lavish Beats, Pull Da Trigga, SuperLynks, Trey Breezy & Shanta Prince and contains groovy, ragga, jump & hardcore soca.
