NEW REGGAE RELEASES
Pressure BussPipe - 'Lion is A Lion'
Pressure BussPipe out of St Thomas has kept a steady presence in the reggae music scene for a while now and it comes from good music & hard work. His latest single is 'Lion is A Lion' and it's very powerful and lyrically potent. This one is straight fire.
Alborosie - His Majesty riddim 'Red'
Alborosie is from Italy and lives in Jamaica. He has his own studio and his latest project was recorded there. Its called the His Majesty riddim. His track is 'Red,' which is about his new home. Mr Vegas jumps on with 'Unite' and Etana does one for those that know the benefits of Marijuana in a track called 'Healing Tree.'

NEW REGGAE/POP RELEASES
Miss Li - 'Bonfire'
I have never heard of Miss Li, until today. The Swedish singer has had a lot of her songs featured in ad campaigns for some of the biggest companies. She definitely has had commercial success which means she also has a pop side. Today the song that introduced me to this young, talented lady is her latest single called 'Bonfire.' So the song has two obvious elements, if you pay attention to this blog, reggae and pop. A catchy little easy skunking song that has a good melody. What does this mean for reggae?
NEW SOCA RELEASES
Nori Amada - 'Losing It'
Panama's Carnival is near. Nori Amada has the front runner in my opinion. It's called 'Losing It.' I love the music/riddim and the melody as well as the lyrics which is usually not the case.

Precision Productions - 'Lip Service'
Precision Productions has been a staple in soca for the last 10 years. They have returned with one of their best soca riddims yet. Every tune pon di riddim BAD!!!! The riddim is named after Machel Montano's 'Lip Service' song. Machel is still the biggest thing in soca. K Rich has really come on strong and his song, 'Feels Like Love,' is one of his best and continues his momentum in the soca arena. Kreesha Turner is on that same path and has my favorite cut with 'I Will Be Here,' a real love song. Preddy, GBM & Rock City all seal the riddim.
T-Rock - 'leh We Go'
It's a good week for soca as we get a third new release we like from T-Rock Again called "leh We Go.' An original Trinidadian living in Houston Texas in the USA. His song is fun, catchy and about having a good time.
