NEW REGGAE RELEASES
Jahfe - '3rd Eye Manifesto'
After 8 years Jahfe finally releases a new album after much trials & tribulations in the name of '3rd Eye Manifesto.' Their first single & video released just about two weeks ago and is one of the best songs from the album called 'Angel' with Mykal Rose. The track uses the keyboard phrase from The Tamlins 'Baltimore.' The album shows versatility and growth. The growth comes in both the star herself Esther Fortune and the other lead singer & band leader Sasha who's grown a bit with his vocals as well. Both show strengths in their voice and Esther shows some versatility that has not been heard before on record. Sasha definitely doesn't have to be 'Sorry' anymore. His best songs are 'Revelation' & 'Home To Zion,' which show his closeness to Jah. I know alot of times the band & especially Esther had to 'Clear Her Mind.' She gives her all in this one and you can feel it. 'Sometimes' is just a real nice song and has an accompaning dub as the last track. Lastly, 'Clear Ya Mind' sounds great and is a bit more uptempo than usual, has a light dancehall vibe to it and uses the horns from Dennis Brown's 'Promise Land.' Here's the solution follow up as it has now been given birth in "3rd Eye Manifesto."
EBM [Earth Beat Movement] - 'Be Stronger'
Another good reggae album comes from Italy's Earth Beat Movement and 'Be Stronger.' Longtime Italian artist Piero Dread makes an appearance on the best song I've heard him on in many years 'Find Our Way.' Another strong song is 'Forgive Them' & 'Fyah Alarm,' which has a dancehall vibe.

NaNa Gel Riddim
The NaNa Gel riddim releases and brings Fantan Mojah back to form on 'No Way' he will never stray from the Almighty. Wish there were more on the riddim. Nice tune and straight Fantan.
Next Station - 'The Way'
Next Station has the truth and there is 'No Way' other than that. The spot this week is Italy as this is the first release from newcomers Next Station. Very nice tune. Great lyrics.
NEW DANCEHALL RELEASES
Doper Than Dope Riddim
King Toppa releases an old skool style dancehall riddim called 'Doper Than Dope.' The artists are all new yet do it in an 80's style flow. There's SK Simeon with the title & song that has branded the riddim. Then there's also Longfingah with 'Make Love & Not War.' Fun if you're into the 80's vibe.
