SHOK WAVE is your weekly new REGGAE music blog. SHOK WAVE finds music that is out there in the form of Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Ska, Dub, Reggae Rock & anything else musical with a Caribbean origin and in any language.
Here is what we found this week.......Enjoy!
Instead of not doing a blog this week we decided to list a bunch of good songs that released. I did not find anything great just good. Maybe this should be the start of an additional playlist? What do you think?
REGGAE
Kevoy Clarke 'Girl You're Mine'
This feels like another one of those very passionate Jamaican reggae singers like Romain Virgo and another new singer called Jevon (similar spelling too). Kevoy pleas with that same passion in 'Girl You're Mine.' This one is about having fun, too.
Louie Culture - Deh Yah Pon Di Juggling (Shishenkeh Riddim)
Daman 'Time'
Sara Lugo 'Better Way'
Virtus 'Bring Joy'
Fortunate Youth feat. Mellow Mood 'Arond The World'
REGGAE ROCK
Sons of Paradise 'Liberate'
DANCEHALL
Jody Lee 'Right Now'
SOCA
Freetown Collective 'Kassandra'
What a sweet piece of soca with a lite zouk feel thru the guitars. This is 'Kassandra' and it's from Freetown Collective and its a galaxy of harmony and melody, music and philosophy, good vibes and love over everything else. Looks like the backing band for Nailah Blackmon. Everything is great about them. Muzik supercedes all.
