New Soca Releases
Sure D - 'Amazing'
The first releases are soca and the first is 'Amazing.' A love song from Sure D, who is so in love with her man, so it's got that sexy vibe and a ragga/groovy feel. 2017 looks like a big year for this Trinidadian.
D'Regulars - 'Come In'
D'Regulars are twins and are ready to 'Come In' on the Hit List riddim. The duo comes from Grenada and are doing it big for Grenada Carnival.
Weird Together - 'Going Back To Trinidad'
Just so you're not confused Weird Together is the name of the band, the eight-piece group that brought the track together out of New Zealand and the song is 'Going Back To Trinidad' and it features the voice of artist/singer & performer RemBunction. It's got that old classic calypso vibe and I love it. It's a ditty about the way most islanders/foreigners feel when they're away from their homeland. This one just happens to be about Trinidad in particular. All foreigners can relate worldwide. It's also on Jillionaire’s Feel Up Records of Major Lazer fame. If anything watch the video it's great.
Tifa & Fayann Lyons - 'Big Bumper Remix'
It's more soca. This time a remixed Moskato dancehall riddim with a soca feel in it. Tifa & Fayann Lyons join for the big bad 'Big Bumper Remix' & this will have the girls, dancehall & soca fans going crazy on the dancefloor. Watch out.
