Reggae/Dancehall Albums/EP
Bugle releases a nice new 5 song ep with a dub called 'Reggae Knowledge.' It's a mixture of reggae & dancehall. Top cuts feature one from each style: 'Dem Cyaa Know' (reggae) & 'Never Let Go' (Love & Dancehall riddim) (dancehall).
The biggest release this week is not quite released yet. We featured the title track last week from his new album 'Roots & Chalice.' This week we got the mixtape, which we don't listen to too many, of 'Roots & Chalice' from Chronixx & Federation of the same name. It sounds great. It features 7 new singles from the album some you may know and some you may not. The first is 'Majesty.' A great lovers roots rock and sounds like a modern day 'Queen Majesty.' Then there's a 'News Carrying Dread' which he originally did over Tenement Yard with Jacob Miller & Inner Circle. This time it's over the Mind Yu Mouth riddim and a little different sounds good too. A dancehall styled riddim has Chronixx showing his versatility with positive lyrics and musical stylings are similar on 'Sell My Gun.' Really love the lyrics to this one. I felt instead of sell he should have used destroy. Chronixx grew up in Spanish Town Jamaica and he speaks of it regularly so on 'Spanish Town Rocking' he dedicates the song to his area and does it on the 'Prison Oval' riddim which has Spanish Town significance. Shows Barrington Levy had a big influence on this project & rightfully so. Lastly it's a dance oriented track called 'Thanks & Praises,' with strictly positive VIBES!!!!!! This kid is LEGENDARY!!!!!!!!!
Jugglerz releases 'Jugglerz City Vol 1' with the latest single being J Boog 'Worth My Time.' It has a nice island reggae & acoustic blend. Also on the album is Collie Buddz's 'Nice Up Yourself,' Luciano 'Where Are The Hearts' and I Octane's 'Everywhere I Go.' Everything on the album so far sounds good. It's a combination of reggae & dancehall.
DJ Vadim releases a new release/mixtape style album courtesy of SoulBeats called 'DubCatcher 2-Wicked My Yout.' The only track I was really feeling is the single called 'Fussin N Fighting' feat Demolition Man. There's others, this just being the top reggae track as there is other styles of music here too.
Reggae Singles/Riddims
The Green out of Hawaii release two new singles. The first is 'Roots' from their upcoming 4th album and is very roots for them.
The second single is a part of VP records Tribute to Dennis Brown and they did the best song I have heard yet in their version of 'Promise Land.'

Sizzla is always working on a new album and a single coming from his upcoming album '876" is called 'Leave My Ganja Alone,' imagine that.
Sade Serena has released a new reggae/pop single with a very familiar bass line and again this week we talk about the bam bam, which she uses a piece of the lyrics over the bassline of 'Gunman.'
Reggae World Riddim only has 2 tunes pon di riddim and I like Wayne Wonders & Love Dann I's. Both are about the sweet reggae music we all know & Love.
Here's another nice riddim that I love called 'Vacation' riddim & the only tune I'm really feeling pon a levels is 'Jamdown' by Voicemail & Chevaughn, which I think is where the name of the riddim comes
Dancehall Singles/Riddims
DJ Frass releases a bad dancehall riddim called 'All Inclusive.' A sexy kind of smooth beat & all tracks are good. The better tracks come from Alkaline, Sean Paul, I Octane & Tarrus Riley.
The 'Sail Away' riddim got a huge break because it was sampled in Rhianna's dancehall flavored song 'Work.' VP has re-released it because of that very reason.
Mr Vegas has been releasing all kinds of music. This week it's 'Identify.' A dancehall-ish bam bam riddim style beat about 'identify my love.' Go In Vegas .....go in
