Italy's on the rise. Most know Alborosie and he has brought along my new favorite reggae band from Brazil on the track 'Dome o Medo' it's Ponto de Equilíbrio & Alborosie.
Typical Féfé's - 'Reggae'
The Universal Language here is Reggae. Take Typical Féfé's 'Reggae' from out of France, which is another hotbed for the music. We all not only understand this, we feel it too.
Danakil - 'La Rue Raisonne'
Here we go again. France's top reggae band is Danakil. They've released their new album 'La Rue Raisonne.' It is a good album with my favorites 'World of Reggae,' that features artists from all over, mostly Europe, and I like 'Comme Je....' This is the first album I do find that the language becomes a bit of a barrier.
Gappy Ranks - 'Your Own'
Gappy Ranks defends the independent ladies in 'Your Own.'
Gary Nesta Pine - 'Revelation'
Gary Nesta Pine has released 'Revelation.' A great reggae album to just kick back, relax, and listen. The album kicks off with 'The Herbs' and it's a good way to listen to the album too. It sets the pace for the rest of the album. Pine's simple lyrics are profound and dynamic not only in delivery but also in his talented way of putting them together. This is best executed in 'Mr Wall Street' and 'Live the Love.' 'Love Generation' originally brought him to a worldwide audience. It always had a reggae sound to it, Gary gives it the reggae stamp of authority here. So lastly we leave you with 'Thanks and Praises.'

Queen Omega - 'Ganja Baby'
Out of Trinidad comes the 'Ganja Baby' Queen Omega. The video just released. I do believe the tune release a couple of years ago.
Hirie - 'Wandering Soul'
Hirie of Hawaii has just released their new album 'Wandering Soul' which just went number one on the Reggae Billboard charts. We're really feeling the 'Boom Fire.'
NEW DANCEHALL RELEASES
Popcaan - 'Nah Idle'
Popcaan has released 3 new songs this week alone. 'Nah Idle' seems to be the one with that signature 'Poppy' sound fi real. It also has a good message that's very common in Jamaica.
