SHOK WAVE is your weekly new REGGAE music blog. SHOK WAVE finds music that is out there in the form of Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Ska, Dub, Reggae Rock & anything else musical with a Caribbean origin and in any language.
Here is what we found this week…….Enjoy!
Instead of not doing a blog this week we decided to list a bunch of good songs that released. I did not find anything great just good. Maybe this should be the start of an additional playlist? What do you think?
REGGAE
Various Artists “Mountain Peak”
Various Artists “Earthman Riddim”
A heavy roots riddim with reggaes prophet of heavy roots Akae Beka & ‘Principles.’ Also featuring Iman the ‘Earthman,’ the ‘Earthmen’ is Ras Hassen Ti and then Tamrin meets Samson Benji on ‘Hornsman.’ Every man is a man and he who has principles. Hornsman nices it up at the end. Just a good easy vibe with roots.
Mowty Mahlyka ‘Mash Up the Dance’

Fortunate Youth ‘Good Times (Roll On)’
Another feel good reggae rock tune from California’s very Fortunate Youths. It is a bit of a play on words because the herb we roll up to make the ‘Good Times….Roll On.’ Enjoy
REGGAE meets REGGAE ROCK

This is a true merger of the reggae rock music as Iya Terra has the priviledge to get Steel Pulse on this one with the full vocal crew of David Hines, Sewlyn Brown & Imlak Tafari. Unity is ‘Forwards Bound.’
