SHOK WAVE: NEW MUSIC RELEASES 3/13/2023

SHOK WAVE is your weekly new REGGAE music blog. SHOK WAVE finds music that is out there in the form of Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Ska, Dub, Reggae Rock & anything else musical with a Caribbean origin and in any language.

Here is what we found this week.......Enjoy!

Instead of not doing a blog this week we decided to list a bunch of good songs that released. I did not find anything great just good. Maybe this should be the start of an additional playlist? What do you think?

REGGAE

Bitty Mclean 'Let's Make Up'
This is my absolute favorite singer out of the UK, Mr Bitty Mclean with 'Let's Make Up' joined by Sly & Robbie. After the fight it's the make up. Which is better or which is worse? This song puts it into perspective.

Aleighcia Scott 'Do You'
The second of my favorite Lover's Rock singers out of the UK is Aleighcia scott and this is her song 'Do You' which is about the question 'Do you Love me?' She does it so well. It's Rory of Stone Love producing it over a classic Studio track.

Alyze Di Singer 'Reggae Have Me Feeling'
It's the song that explains the feeling reggae gives you. It's called 'Reggae Have Me Feeling' by Alyze Di Singer. Just good vibes.

REGGAE MEETS COUNTRY

Cas Haley 'Tennessee Whiskey'
From his upcomiong project "Boots, Rock, Reggae," which is all country songs in reggae. He does great renditions of country songs in reggae. It's his roots of music meets his current love for reggae.

DUB

Dubmatix
It's a tribute to the two best King Tubby the innovator & Lee Scratch Perry the mad scientist and it's Dubmatix version, tribute and nod to the greatest to do dub.
