For 364 days of the year the Surfrider Foundation and our volunteer and activist network works to protect our coasts. On one day, International Surfing Day, we take a moment to celebrate the impact we've made, the campaigns we've won and the beaches we've protected.
This International Surfing Day spread the joy, excitement and pure stoke that the beach and surfing give by helping us reach our goal to bring 1 million people to the beach worldwide on June 17th.
The 4th Annual Coconut Cup SUP race in Frederiksted, St. Croix US Virgin Islands begins on March 31st and continues through April 2nd. It's going to be three days of SUP Races, music and entertainment in what can only be described as a slice of paradise on earth. Paddle a 5km Open, 10km Long Course and 12km Elite Downwinder. $10,000 in Cash Prizes. This year will have a kids open and the famous Chaos Relay Course! There will be drink specials featuring Jack Daniels, el Jimador, Fireball and more!

The 2nd Annual Kulcha Shok Surf & Muzik Fest has been rescheduled for October 7, 2017. Held at Pompano Beach on the Southside of the pier. The contest will start at 7am with pre-registration taking place online here at KulchaShok.com for $40 per division.
The contest will have several facets: music, vending, and the many divisions of the multi-faceted surf contest. Those include 13 & under, 14-17, 18 & over for the males, open Longboard, open Women's, open Stand Up Paddle Surf, open Skim and more if the contestants enter or we see a need to differentiate the different divisions to separate age groups. Each division will win a new board as always & custom trophies. There will be free Muzik on the beach all day. Some of the music on the beach will be Djs & acoustic acts: JohnLee, Mike Maytin & Tasty Vibrations (all surfers).
Entry fee for everyone will be $40 into the surf contest otherwise its free to watch. There will be grab bags for every pre-paid entry.

Kulcha Shok hosts their annual Surf Expo Party Friday September 9, 2016 @ Senor Frog's, Orlando. This year features Summerlong, Horizen, & SowFlo! Lance-O will be Djing this event as well as at the Sun Bum booth #2214 for the Surf Expo and during Happy Hours with free beer from 4-6pm, the key is to find where it is!
