Instead of not doing a blog this week we decided to list a bunch of good songs that released. I did not find anything great just good. Maybe this should be the start of an additional playlist? What do you think?
REGGAE
I-Octane 'Jah Is Life'
Drastic measures mean change. When your life is threatened, not once, twice in one day, it's bound to change something. In this case I-Octane nearly died in a car crash while in the US. Now he is giving all praises unto Jah in his new reggae, yes reggae song 'Jah Is Life.' We have not heard a reggae tune of this calibre since he first started making noise in the business nearly 15 years ago. In fact, this could very well be the best reggae song this dancehall artist has ever done. It's even done in a different and new tone & voice we have never heard of from I-Octane. Could it be the start of something new? Maybe the change will bring on more positive reggae & provide a platform for this new sound/voice. Well truth be told, this song has just re-released after originally being released 4 years ago. Since the near death occurances, maybe thats why it was re-released. We hope it starts a new trend we discussed. Good muzik never dies
