Innercoastal

This 4 piece roots rock reggae group sprouting from Central Florida brings a new sound to the reggae industry. Innercoastal originated in 2008 with a remarkable turnout with packed shows beginning at small coffee shops all the way to the House of Blues. This young group of artists fortunately has had a great group of mentors who have inspired them to achieve outstanding and improving musicianship. Their first album “Support the Stash” came out in 2009 and took off. It was reordered along with their new album self-entitled “Innercoastal” which is due to be released Winter 2011, as a six song EP. Mike Walker, “Dreamwalker”, has produced their music since 2008 and knows their songs like the back of his hand. Both albums have been produced at his studio in Ocoee, FL. In the middle of recording, a traumatic disaster fell upon their lead guitar player. Nate Winters lost his left leg in a boating accident. ESPN covered Nate’s accident and his recovery process after he not only lost his left leg but also 80% of his blood, while trying to stay on the pitchers mound and keep jammin’ out on stag, this made the group stronger and influences their message. Although a few tragedies have occurred within this young band, it has only made them stronger and one with their music as they have continued to spread what they believe in.
